,Develoment of any country does not signify it’s industrial growth only. There should be a strategic combination with different sectors like industry, agriculture, science & technology, education and health etc.In our country, with a view to achieving development for the nation, over emphasises on rapid industrialization are intensifying significantly. Practically, the industrial enhancement is encroaching the fruitful lands of the poor villagers who are solely depending on these for their survival.
The compensation packages from the industrial houses can not ensure the landloosers future survival. The futile monetary coverage to those poor landloosers, can not match with what they have lost.It is seen that, the indusrial houses are offering a job to the owner of one hector land who subscribes the same. Have we ever thought that one hector land can employ more than five to six workers. All the workers would be from surrounding villages, who are not technically skilled or educated as the industrial houses opt for.The lands are the ‘heart and soul’ of those poor villagers. They find entire satisfaction of life with having such lands for their agricultural uses whatsoever. They can die for such lands. These lands are their passion which can be evaluated by no means.
India is largely populated country. It needs more and more lands left unoccupied by any means. Particularly, agricultural lands should get exemted from acquiring for any industrial needs.Because abundant crops production and more jobs involvement will be possible with the help of agricultural lands. It is very clear that, immediate retun can be enjoyed and shared by the economically retarded major populations.
So,by avoiding any kinds of encroachment of poor farmers' land to make big industry would be the right policy for the sake of any country's survival.
